What if 2014 was a year of positive change?

What if you tell us your dream . .
It was the first day of school again! My favorite day. No one saw me all break. No one remembers last term. I can come in and be or do anything I want, and everyone will like it. . .
What about the dream?
I came in and the Dean said hey . . . ! "Look at these people and all this stuff. Last year they had this club, and they were doing something. This year they all graduated, so now no one knows what to do. ."
Oh, that's easy, I said. . . And I turned around to the room, and said to everyone. . . Hi folks, who here wants to get something done? Wow, great. . . now Who here has time! Yea, I know. But we need you to commit some time and really work at this, so we all can rely on you. So now again who really wants get something done?
WOW, GREAT! The first thing we need to do is figure out what we have here. Everything in this space needs to get organized and cataloged. We need to find out what's here and how it all got here, where it came from and whether we can get more if we want. . .
Wow, suddenly everyone was busy! I gave them the first job, and they understood, so people broke off into teams and started accounting and organizing what was in the space around them. . . . it was incredible. I remember seeing something about art supplies from some African Nation, and other materials we could collect and supply to them for creating this art . . . Then the next day I came in and no one was there yet, so I started trying to figure what was arranged on the front desk.
Someone had marked things up and started a list. . . so I grabbed the old calendar big sheet of paper and turned it over to diagram what I liked and needed to see more of. . . And then I saw this kid making this big clear diagram with colors for his team on one table. So I went to him and said Hey buddy, I need your help. . . we need to diagram how someone started here with this list and what's really good here is how this is done. Then you see over here this is great too, we need to combine these and show how we can better track and understand where we are at when we express things visually.
Wait he said, I know a lady who preforms. She can tell people anything, or sell anything, she could help you with this too. WOW, great . . where can we find her. . . and we were off walking down the hall into the next building and found this girl coming out of class. She had this white sketching on her face. It looked like outlines for some cool designs. . . yes, she said no worries, my friend said you needed some help, and this is for a performance that I'm doing later, so lets talk about what you need to do . . .
And so it was funny, as we kinda got lost, or I wasn't sure how to get back into our building, but we kept talking as we walked. . . And then i realized it was perfect. So we walked into the space and everyone stopped to look at us coming in . . . So I started off. . . Ok folks this is our first leadership team. . Here we have three people that are really good at something. You know me, I can put things together and make things happen. . . Well now we have someone who is great at diagramming things and putting what I say down on paper so we can all see and understand it clearly. And here this is his friend who is great a speaking and presenting what we put together . . . so we are ready to start moving this forward!
Now what we need is, we need everyone here to join our leadership team. And this is really easy. All you need to do is find what you are really good at doing - - and start doing that! And then each day I see what gets done and who is great at things we can get more done together by pulling you into the leadership team to lead what you are great at doing. . .
What A simple dream . . . something you've done all your life. . . You get excited about something and talk about it, trying to get dimensions and understanding on it. . . and then you sleep on it and visualize all these neat ways to make it happen. This is what you do! This is what you have always done. This is what you are good at . . . this is why you've always been the project director. Not because you know how everything works, or how to fit things together. . . But only because you know how to get yourself all pumped up about it and then sleep to let the Spirit Flow and create . . . and then you just interpret it and share what you discovered. Just like Eric the Red, and Blackbeard and Christopher Columbus, you can understand how things work and follow your gut to bring things out . . .
I get it! So all this time I was trying to figure out what was next for me, it was all about finding what I am great at doing and understand what is real for me.
Yes, of course. . .Which is exactly what you did for your son. You never judged him, or told him he was wrong or making mistakes . . . you simply listened to him and allowed his voice and love to soak in and BE part of you. Then you simply told him what you saw and felt about it all. You saw how his mom did the same thing, or how he could improve or move on from the mistakes that others did around him. Not make the same mistakes, but grow and learn by looking and seeing what others were doing and what really worked and what did not! It was so clear to him that he started to see how his sister needed to do the same thing - - not make the same mistakes, but learn with the mind instead of the experience.
I guess that's what I am good at doing . . .
Yes, that's Why you are the project director, at and ground floor you can see talent and skills and bring people to their best . . . it's what you do. Everyone you work with gets better and improves. . . whatever it is that they are good at. Like your dream. You inspired leaders. You asked them all to be leaders. You knew they can all be really good at something and it really didn't matter what it was because on the team you need all sorts so the more skills you bring together the more you can do. And they were already leaders at something, which pushed them to be great at their skills . .
I guess so. Now I just need to find out how to make this happen more clearly.
